Grants 2026: MaPrimeRénov', CEE bonuses and reduced VAT
Heat pump, heat pump water heater, ventilation, air conditioning: what you are entitled to, the order in which to do the paperwork, and what I take care of for you.
The grants at a glance
MaPrimeRénov'
State aid, depending on your income (very low, low and middle-income households), for a main residence more than 15 years old. Since 1 September 2026, for stand-alone work it only funds the air-to-water heat pump (or ground-source). For an air-to-water heat pump: €5,000, €4,000 or €3,000 depending on income.
CEE bonuses (energy savings certificates)
Funded by energy suppliers, with no income conditions (higher amount for low-income households), for a home more than 2 years old. They cover the air-to-water heat pump, the heat pump water heater, dual-flow ventilation and high-efficiency reversible air conditioning.
Reduced VAT
5.5% instead of 20% on energy-saving work in a home more than 2 years old: air-to-water heat pump, heat pump water heater, dual-flow ventilation and, since July 2026, high-efficiency reversible air conditioning.
Interest-free eco-loan (éco-PTZ)
An interest-free loan to finance what you still have to pay: up to €15,000 for a single action, with no income conditions, for a home more than 2 years old. You apply through your bank, until the end of 2027.

Certified RGE QualiPAC and RGE Ventilation+ (see my Qualit'EnR page), I give you access to all of these grants. With a non-RGE company, the air-to-water heat pump, heat pump water heater and dual-flow ventilation lose MaPrimeRénov' and the CEE bonuses.
Since 1 September 2026, the “Coup de pouce chauffage” boost to the CEE bonus is reserved for heat pumps whose model is labelled (European manufacture). I take this into account when choosing the equipment.
How it works with me
- Technical visit and detailed quote. I size the installation and estimate the grants you are entitled to.
- Registering the bonus, before anything is signed. I set up the CEE bonus file with you through my partner Effy. If you are entitled to MaPrimeRénov', I guide you through the application on the official website.
- Quote signed and work carried out, to professional standards, followed by commissioning and explanations.
- Documents provided. I give you the compliant invoice, my RGE certificate and the technical specifications of the equipment installed.
- The bonus is paid to you directly. The CEE bonus reaches your account by transfer from Effy; MaPrimeRénov' is paid by Anah.
Pitfalls to avoid
- Cold-calling for energy renovation is banned in France. A call offering you a heat pump “funded by the State” is a warning sign.
- €1 offers or “fully reimbursed” work often hide poorly sized equipment or a sloppy installation.
- Check the company's RGE qualification in the official France Rénov' directory or the Qualit'EnR directory (QualiPAC, Ventilation+). See CLIM & EAU's page.
- Never give your logins (tax account, MaPrimeRénov') to a canvasser.
