Since 18 July 2026
Reversible air conditioning: 5.5% VAT
Order of 13 July 2026: high-efficiency reversible air conditioning, installed by a professional in a home over 2 years old, drops from 10% to 5.5% VAT.
Conditions → Deadline 1 January 2030Room-by-room heating control
Decree 2023-444 amended in December 2025: mandatory in all existing homes by 2030 (from 2027 in new builds).
What to plan → ReminderHeat pump and A/C servicing every 2 years
Heat pumps and reversible air conditioners from 4 to 70 kW: servicing required at least every 2 years, with a certificate.

Energy renovation grants
Reduce the cost of your heat pump or ventilation system
MaPrimeRénov' (air-to-water heat pumps) and most CEE grants (air-to-water heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, MVHR) are only granted for work carried out by an RGE-certified company. As an RGE QualiPAC and RGE Ventilation+ certified installer, I help you benefit from these grants and the reduced VAT rate, depending on your income and your home. I estimate the available grants with the quote.
